You can immediately tell this product is designed well. The materials feel strong and the pad sits nicely across the horse’s back without slipping. I’ve been using it after training sessions to help my horse relax and recover. He seems calmer during grooming and much looser the next day when I ride. It’s also very easy to bring to the barn or competitions.
One of the things I like most about this pad is how simple it is. You place it along the back, turn it on and let it run while the horse relaxes. My horse stands quietly during every session and seems to enjoy it. After using it regularly I feel like he is moving more freely and feels more comfortable when we start riding. It has become part of our normal grooming routine.
I heard about red light therapy from someone at my barn and decided to give the HorseHalo Back Pad a try. My horse is in regular training and sometimes gets a little tight through his back. I have been using it on my 20 year old Molly Mule, Coco Chanel. I compete Top Hand and barrels with her. After a session she is so very relaxed and happy. We compete all day this coming Saturday. I will use it every day and every day after. I own a very busy restaurant where I am a line cook. The first time I used it on my horse he was licking and chewing and standing very comfortably enjoying his spa day! I put it on his back and also on his neck. I liked the other on/off button from the halo minis better but I'm getting used to this little button on the side. I wish I could get another charger cord that is longer and a plug in for the wall for this so I could keep it charged up. Same with the halo minis.
I reached out to customer service about this defective product and provided a detailed description of the issues. I sent a second email as the customer service email that is on your website was returned as undeliverable as the email was not legitimate. I have not received any response back from my second email to you. I am very dissatisfied and am requesting a full refund. The product does not work and found the quality subpar. I use this every day before my ride for 15 minutes. My horse loves it. He starts off very soft and supple.
We saw a marked difference. Upon arrival we took it to the horse show along with the neck and head. Halotherapy and I have the boot Halotherapy. My mare gets all these therapies before our ride and it’s made a huge difference.

My old mare was having issues with her hind end. After poking around I found her back was bothering her. After 2 treatments there was a major improvement with very little sensitivity in her back. After the third treatment she's walking a lot better with no more sensitivity in her back
All my horses really like this product, and completely relax when wearing it. I use it before and after exercise, and although none of them have specific back issues I always think prevention is better than cure. I believe this is a great edition to my tool kit for ongoing horse maintenance. Although, I'm not sure why the control button panels are upside down. But it still works, so 🤷
